Mr & Mrs Hunt approached York Kitchens after visiting a number of other local Kitchen companies and decided they wanted to work with us on the project.

Mr & Mrs Hunt were working on a full house renovation including extension to the rear. We listened to the clients carefully to ensure that their ideas were portrayed in the kitchen design.

They were looking for a modern, smooth sleek-style kitchen including high specification appliances and features. They chose the Sheraton Oblique kitchen painted in anthracite. Mr & Mrs Hunt already had an idea in their heads of what style of kitchen they liked, therefore they worked closely with Gareth, our kitchen designer to capture this in the design, with Gareth suggesting various ideas such as a matching black sink and exclusive matt black AEG ovens to create a modern and urban finish.

The contrasting black Silestone worktop and solid wood kitchen island worktop compliment each other balancing modern sleekness with natural softness and warmth from the wood which ties in together with the solid wood bespoke shelving.

The island features a built-in hob, seating area, closed storage, open shelving, and a slimline wine cooler.

An American-style fridge freezer within the tall bank of units creates a nice modern feature for the kitchen, utilising space and creating a sleek finish.

For the final touches, various mood lighting was installed, featuring adjustable spotlighting and plinth lighting to created various ambiences throughout the day.
