Mr & Mrs Corrigan came to York Kitchens as they were undertaking an extension to the rear of their home. They wanted a modern, sleek handleless kitchen to compliment the open plan and airy space created in the new extension.

We worked closely with the local builders to ensure the kitchen plans would complement the extension work carried out.

The clients chose Sheraton Oblique painted in limestone with a contrasting graphite island. The light colours of the kitchen units and the tall banks work well with the tall ceiling, keeping the room feeling spacious and clean.  The Graphite island compliments the kitchen adding a slight pop of colour and tone to the room.

The chosen worktops were Silestone quartz, minimalist with a slight sparkle effect which added a nice modern finish. The large island is a great space for entertaining guests and creates a centrepiece in the spacious room.

Mr & Mrs Corrigan chose high specification modern appliances including a Boiling hot water tap by Quooker and integrated Neff appliances.

The clients finished the kitchen off with an injection of colour via soft furnishings including modern light pendants and carefully running the mustard colour throughout the kitchen in smaller details.

Overall this is a great example of creating an open plan modern kitchen living area with a unique and clean finish.
