What is your role and main duties:

A Director/General Manager who oversees strategic planning coordinates operations, and ensures seamless project execution. Responsibilities include team leadership, client relations, and maintaining high-quality standards. They navigate market trends, foster innovation, and drive the company’s overall success in the competitive industry.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work:

I mostly enjoy playing golf, mountain bike riding and spending time with the family.

Meeting clients & designing inspirational kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms.

1st – in Computer-Aided-Design and 20 years experience in selling and designing kitchens and bathrooms.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work:

Playing golf, training my son to play Rugby, watching York Knights and visiting Michelin Starred restaurants.

I came on board this year to work on York Kitchens & Interiors’ marketing and PR strategy.

What is your role and main duties:

My main role is to help the business define their messages, creatives, and campaigns to ensure they are reaching individuals in York and surrounding areas who want a quality product, designed by professionals and installed with the best craftsmanship.

Qualifications, awards & achievements:

I have 20 years of experience working on both the client and agency sides in B2B and B2C environments, and I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from Durham University.

My contributions to the marketing field have led to commendation in the ‘Best Leader’ category at the prestigious Global Women in Marketing Awards, as well as winning Best Digital Campaign at the Northern Digital Awards and Best B2B Campaign at the Prolific North Awards.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work:

“I have two children, aged 6 and 10, and a Rottweiler named Betty, who keep me very busy! When I’m not taking them on walks, I enjoy spending time in the kitchen, where I love preparing meals to entertain family and friends. I am also revisiting my teenage saxophone and piano playing, with the goal of achieving my grade 8 in the coming years.”

Overseeing all kitchens, bathroom and bedroom installations from start to finish and ensuring the aftercare is as important as the service before the installation.

Outside of work, I am spending time with my family. I love going on walks in the countryside or visiting historical sites and going to concerts.
