Mr & Mrs Barr had a separate kitchen to the dining room, which was smaller than what they wanted and in need of modernising.
Mrs & Mrs Barr wanted a larger area for the kitchen so structural work was required in order to
provide exactly that.
They wanted a traditional kitchen with light coloured worktops, and to improve the space overall, and still have the storage space available.
The York Kitchens team moved the wall between the living area and the kitchen and put a new stud wall between the living room and kitchen, giving the space in the new kitchen where a steel support was required.
An amazing new living space was created, Mr & Mrs Barr now having an English Rose light grey kitchen. A perfect traditional kitchen finished with a silestone 30mm thick eco diamond white worktop.
The kitchen floor was fitted with a new karndean floor and zehnder radiators giving a stylish finish.
We had to incorporate enough space to fit a small dining table in the centre of the new kitchen; also we designed a tall dresser to fit in place matching the traditional shaker doors.
Mrs Barr had chosen Bosch appliances, including a single oven, microwave oven, induction hob and integrated washing machine.
The team at York Kitchens felt that it was an absolutely fabulous result, an amazing transformation from the previous kitchen, it ticked all the boxes, stylish and spacious.
Mr and Mrs Barr were extremely happy with the overall look of their new kitchen.
