Mr and Mrs James had a small kitchen in need of an update and some building work therefore we arranged a site visit and measured the space.
The client was looking for a modern minimal style kitchen with easy clean surfaces. They also wanted to block up a small window and change to an eye level slide and hide Neff oven and combination microwave above as well as an angled extractor and induction hob.
We looked at modern ranges and ended up picking a handleless kitchen with a gloss cashmere finish and a blanco maple silestone quartz worktop. The client was invited back into the showroom to confirm the layout where we tried a few options and then came up with a final design, which included Quartz window sills, glazed bi-folding wall units and all integrated appliances to give a clean modern look. We also picked Karndean flooring and a glass splash back to fit with the colour scheme.
Once we had blocked the window up all the electrics and plumbing were first fixed ready for the plasterer. Once the full space had been re plastered the joiner fitted all the kitchen units and the worktops were templated. Radiators were fitted and the floor was laid. The worktop was then fitted and we could fit the undermounted sink with the Quooker boiling tap and the induction hob.
The space looked transformed into a clean bright area.
Mr and Mrs James love their new kitchen and have now purchased all new accessories to match their new colour scheme.
