Mr and Mrs Gallagher had an old style shaker style kitchen and worn laminate work surface.
The customer came with an idea of removing the utility room and an internal wall between the kitchen and dining room to create a bigger kitchen space. They were looking for a minimal modern style kitchen.
York Kitchens went to the property to carry out the initial survey to take measurements and customer requirements. There were a few options on layouts as there was going to be a vast space with taking the walls out. Once we got the measurements on the design software we created a few options so the customer could start to visualize the kitchens with the walls removed.
We created around 4 different designs, taking different aspects out of each to create the final design. We then went through the products and selected brands including Neff, AEG, Franke and Silestone.
After the kitchen was passed over from the experienced builders the customer had appointed we started to get all cabinets in place, levelled up and ready for the worktop template. The template was carried out and we ploughed on getting all wall units, end panels, cornice and pelmet installed.
The worktop then came to be fitted which totally changed the kitchen and started to become a usable space again. The next stage was fitting all appliances and getting the sink and tap up and running. The last step was fitting the kardean floor and having a final deep clean of the kitchen.
All the team at York Kitchens pulled together and made the dream kitchen a reality. The customer was thrilled with our professionalism and infact got us to create a utility room in the garage.
