Mrs and Mrs Shipley had a 20 year old country style kitchen in need of a freshen up.
The customer was looking for a kitchen in keeping of the property style however wanted nice crisp lines and a modern feel without overcrowding the space.
York Kitchens went through various high quality products to create the traditional yet contemporary kitchen. Some of the high quality products were these following brands Sheraton, Silestone, Miele and Franke. After then main bulk of the kitchen was decided we looked at the finer details and included bins and other clever storage solutions. The final part was to confirm the floor coving which was a big format porcelain tile, however these can sometime be cold under foot so we added under floor heating to take away that chill.
Once we started to remove the kitchen floor and skirting boards we noticed there was a damp patch behind the skirting, this was due to one of the central heating pipes being buried in the concrete.
Our experienced fitter soon saw the problem and dug the floor out to rectify the pipe. We then began to put electrical and plumbing feeds in place for the new kitchen layout.
Our plasterer then created a blank canvas to install the kitchen. The next stage was to install the under floor heating and tile the floor, we were now ready to form the kitchen. The kitchen and worktops were installed to our professional standards to create this beautiful crisp looking kitchen.
